A candid conversation about the question ‘how did your scratches, become your strength?’.
Watch the video (in Dutch) of 3.5 minutes below.
Scratches from the past, trauma or strength?
Our scars - both visible and invisible - play an important role in shaping our behavior and self-image. For instance, Morten talks about his childhood and how it shaped him into who he is today.
Trauma experiences can cause us to develop defence mechanisms, including self-sabotaging habits. Understanding this connection is essential for growth. It allows us to acknowledge our past without allowing it to dictate our future.
We have a choice to work on our scratches and stop self-sabotage. This process often requires vulnerability, introspection and support. By addressing the root causes, we begin to dismantle the limiting beliefs that keep us from using our true power, our core.
